Not a very pleasant news for Naagin fans as their favourite Mouni Roy might not be a part of the 3rd season and we know why...
There are high changes that Colors’ popular drama series
Naagin will not see Mouni Roy in the lead. Shocked? Well, so were we.
A few months ago, Ekta Kapoor exclusively told
SpotboyE.com that Mouni will star in the 3rd instalment of the
successful fictional series.

However, recently we snooped around Balaji Telefilms’
corridors and found out that the makers are auditioning for the lead heroine of
Ekta’s Naagin 3.
So, what went wrong between Ekta and Mouni that a new
face is being searched for the role?
Well, there is no difference in opinion or a rift here
but it’s due to Mouni's packed schedule.
The sexy actress, who just shot for her debut film
Gold with Akshay Kumar, will start shooting for her Alt Balaji web series
Mehrunisa from next month which will end by January.
Adaa Khan, Mouni Roy & Karanvir Bohra
Come February and Mouni will start shooting for Dharma
Productions’ Brahmastra with Amitabh
Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is being directed
by Ayaan Mukerji.
On the other hand, Naagin 3 will go on air from January
and replace the on-going show, Chandrakanta. Unfortunately, Mouni will not be
able to give time to Naagin 3 and hence a new face is being searched.

Our well-placed sources also inform that many popular
television actresses have already auditioned for the role. But no one has been
finalised yet.
There is no doubt that Mouni is going through the best
phase of her life, professionally, but sadly she will not be able to do the
show which brought Mouni's career in the limelight and made her a household
name.
